About M3u8 Pro

Many websites play videos in small pieces instead of one file. This is called HLS streaming, and the list of those pieces is usually a file ending in “.m3u8”. Streaming this way is great for smooth playback, but it makes it hard to keep a copy of something you are allowed to keep — a lecture you paid for, a class recording your teacher shared, or a video you uploaded yourself. M3u8 Pro reads that list, downloads the pieces, and joins them back into one video file for you.

What M3u8 Pro does

You give it a link. It reads the available qualities (like 480p, 720p or 1080p), downloads every piece of the video you choose, and saves them as a single file on your device. For very large videos it splits the file into smaller parts so your browser stays stable. That is the whole job — nothing more.

Built to be easy

Paste a link, choose a quality, give it a name, and press Save. There is no sign-up, no account, and no software to install. It runs entirely in your web browser and works the same on phones, tablets and computers. If you can open a website, you can use M3u8 Pro.

Private by design

The video is downloaded and joined together inside your own browser, then saved straight to your device. We do not store your videos, we do not keep a history of what you save, and we do not ask you to log in. For a few websites that block direct browser access, the request may pass through a helper server only to fetch the file — even then, nothing is stored or logged.

What it will not do

M3u8 Pro does not break DRM or copy protection, and it will not save streams that are locked. If a video is protected, we respect that and stop. Please read our Terms of Use — you may only save content you own or have permission to keep.

Use it responsibly

Only save videos you own, that you have paid for with download rights, or that the owner clearly allows you to keep. Saving copyrighted content without permission is not allowed and is your responsibility. When in doubt, ask the owner first.
